I’m always being asked about how to get more coaching clients, so I thought I would create a video about how to eventually Make Clients Fall Out of The Sky…
This is the new series called “How To Build A $30,000 / Month Coaching Business”.
I’m going to be covering 4 things in this series:
1. How to GET STARTED (the coaching QUICKSTARTTM)
2. How to Produce Multiple Streams of Coaching Income
3. How to Convert Your Coaching Practice into a Coaching BUSINESS
4. How to Keep your clients.
In this segment, I go into great detail about the COACHING QUICKSTARTTM SYSTEM.
This is a system I developed to help my coaches go from no clients to a full practice in less than 6 months.
It has several aspects to it, but these are the key points that I cover in this video:
1. Getting a coach to mentor you through your success
2. Using massive action to build your coaching practice
3. How to build a $30,000 / Month Coaching Practice on 5 hours of REAL WORK per week
4. QUICKSTARTTM Communication Techniques
5. How to set massive amounts of Free Coaching Sessions to market your coaching practice
6. How to build your coaching practice faster using JOINT VENTURES
7. Creating your coaching services
8. How to grow your coaching practice faster using QUICKSTARTTM LEVERS
I hope you get a lot of ideas on how you can market, sell, and joint venture your way to a $30,000 / month coaching practice in no time. Take action, and don’t forget:
Leave comments on what you think of this video and anything you want to say, ask, or hear from me. I promise to respond.

Hi Jeff,
Loved this video… great reminders along with some new tips on how to build a successful coaching business. I’ve recently learned there’s a clear distinction of being a good coach and building a successful coaching business.
A couple of things I’d love to hear your “take” on:
How to get past “call reluctance” when you’re making all those calls each week. Sometimes it’s as difficult to do a “warm” call as it is to do a “cold” call.
And the skill of knowing “how” to network at a network meeting.
Thanks so much for this series.

I have been in the Real Estate Training business for 15 years. The fundamentals for building all businesses are very similar. Having said that, all businesses have their own nuances. The way you presented the coaching nuances in the presentation was “masterful” and very informative. Anyone with a modicum amount of knowledge in their industry can succeed if they have passion and a step by step process to do so. Yogi Berra, the great American philosopher said, “I you don’t know where you’re going you may end up somewhere else.” You have presented a process that will pinpoint a person’s distination. Very succinct and very clear. Bravo!! Pat Sniderwin/Owner- learn2wintraining.com
Hi Jeff!
Great coaches training video! I play the part of an educator and a coach, offering customized Business ESL and Pronunciation (accent reduction) training for companies and professionals. I am already seeing some great ideas for how to step it up a notch due to the valuable info you’ve shared. I especially love the concept of “strategy sessions.
Can you share some insight about how to ask existing clients to send me referrals?
Thanks so much for your sharing your wisdom! What a difference you make!

There are definately TWO skills you need ot learn to build your coaching business: 1. Coaching Skills 2. Business Development Skills. You need BOTH to have a successful coaching business.
With that said, the big misconception with Business Development is that it’s all nuts and bolts. Many of the business skills you must learn are psychological and mindset oriented.
Call Reluctance is a perfect example. Someone who has high level business skills has amazing tenacity when making contact with key people. Building the skill to overcome any call reluctance that you have can be very valuable to you over time.
The same goes for how to networking… there are ‘things to do’ at a networking meeting and there is a mindset that will help you do those things effectively.
Networking meetings are relatively simple. There are several outcomes that you might find important at a networking meeting:
1. Lead Generation
2. POI (person of influence) identification
3. Broadcasting of your USP (unique selling proposition)
4. Asking for/Seeking help
I’ll cover call reluctance in a video, because it’s something where I could TELL you, but you’ll learn the technique better if I SHOW you.
Jeff
Carrie,
I’m going to cover referral strategies for coaches in a video this coming week. Stay tuned for that. There are several methods that should double or even triple your coaching client referrals that you’ll see in the video.

Really great video. Clear and concise information. Ideal for someone like me who is just starting out in the coaching world.
Finally a very informative video on starting a coaching biz.
Jeffrey, what is the importance of finding a niche for coaching?
Hey, Jeff. Is it possible to build a profitable coaching business only in the evening if you have a full time day job? The goal would be to replace the day job. Can you build a coaching business by only speaking to clients in the evening?
Short answer is YES. There are some shadings to that one, however. Lots of variables to consider.
We’ll talk more about this as we go this month.
Jeff
Great, informative video Jeff. It’s logical, easy to follow and full of useful content. No questions yet because I’m still working on exactly what it is I want to do.
Great video! big big thankyou! it really helped me to focus on what is involved with actually setting up a business and getting it running just at the point where i needed/wanted to hear it. perfectly presented for me as well aka. the right detail, the right pace, not patronising, not pushy.
so thank you for this and for what you are doing generally. it is invaluable.
i look forward to watching the rest of them 🙂
You got it, Melanie.
to grow a great coaching business you just need to care a lot and be willing to open doors that others leave shut.
Clearly you are an expert at fostering relationships, the key to success. You are a shining example of coaching success and I look forward to following in the footsteps of someone as talented and successful as you. You are leading by example- free webinar materials and informative videos that are personable- I look forward to creating a video for my website ASAP.
